Beautiful spots

Malaga consists of countless beautiful and inspiring places. A description of some beautiful spots will explain why it would be great to include them in a social programme.

The historic centre of Malaga has magnificent rooftops on which the beauty of the city can be admired from above. Each rooftop has its own character inspired by its surroundings. When holding gatherings it is the ideal way to welcome the participants in a cozy and unique setting. In fact, it is also great to have an afterdrink while unwinding. Natural phenomena

Malaga also features beautiful natural phenomena, ideal during an adventurous activity. In Ronda, a pretty village 1.5 hours away from the city centre, you will find the deepest gorge in Andalusia. Its depth of 120 meters offers spectacular views. Besides the gorge, Ronda is still very well known as the birthplace of bullfighting. It has the oldest and most beautiful bullring in Spain.

Oh and, don’t forget to taste the delicious ham and wines after spending an unforgettable time during a «Torero» master class and you laugh when some colleagues dare to face the bull… Or you can taste a wonderful organic virgin olive oil in one of the best farms producint oil in the region. And for the most exclusive clients, also in Ronda, try co-driving a formula one car on one of the most exclusive speed circuits in Europe.

The Gaitanes Gorge is probably one of Malaga’s attractive natural phenomena. It is located 60 kms from Malaga, In 2014 the restoration of the ‘Caminito del Rey’, a pass built into the walls of the Gaitanes Gorge, began. It is believed to be the most spectacular path in Andalucia.

From March 2015 it is possible to climb this path.

The path rises 100 metres above the Gaitanes Gorge and is made of wood, metal and the occasional glass floor for an exciting view below your feet. This activity is perfectly possible for groups, with a view to nature and adventure.

Authenticity

Furthermore, there is Frigiliana, one of the most authentic villages in Andalusia. The typical white villages with their charming meandering streets, spectacular views and a warm Andalusian atmosphere.

It is one of the best preserved Moorish villages in Andalusia and dates back to 1767. The small picturesque village lies on a hill and has been beautifully renovated. Although the village attracts many tourists, time seems to have stood still here. Higher up in the village there are nice restaurants with great views of the white-painted village, with Nerja and the coast in the background.

In addition, it is definitely recommended to taste the local wine and sherry!

The village is part of the ‘Sun and Wine Route’ and is also famous for its ´miel de caña´. This is sugar cane syrup, delicious with fried eggplant.

Luxury

Marbella, the pearl of the Costa del Sol has a reputation as one of the most glamorous destinations in Southern Europe. Since the 1960s, Marbella has stood for luxury and high quality experiences. Typical of Marbella are its first-class golf courses and the world’s best beach clubs.

In the centre of Marbella you will find the historic old part with a Moois castle, a maze of narrow streets and alleys, and several beautiful churches. The central Alameda park, lined with many Dali sculptures, connects the old town with the beach promenade. The seaside promenade with a total distance of about 15 km is one of the most popular places in Marbella. There are also numerous shopping malls that make shopping possible.

Puerto Banús needs almost no introduction as it is one of the most popular places in Marbella to visit. It is home to an attractive marina where some of the world’s largest private yachts and boats are docked. You will also find a long list of luxury boutiques as well as many restaurants and bars overlooking the marina. This is really a place to see and be seen. In high season celebrities spotting is a common practice because many celebrities wine and dine in Puerto Banús.

Even more, some of the best beach clubs on the Costa del Sol are located in Puerto Banús, including Ocean Club, Funky Buddha and La Sala by the Sea. All offer night parties as well as daytime activities. A short distance from the beach you will also find a number of good nightclubs and bars.
